OUR FORUM

ANNUAL INVESTMENT FORUM
Wednesday, January 22, 2020

Every January, our Annual Investment Forum provides private clients, family offices, and institutional investors access to industry leaders who present their insights on investing, public policy, philanthropy, and other key topics relevant to today’s environment in the investment management industry.

Throughout the year, we seek to broaden the knowledge of the foundations, endowments, and families we serve by supplementing the important discussions we have at client quarterly meetings with additional events that provide access to subject matter experts.

We take pride in creating an environment for our clients to network and collaborate with peers to share experiences, best practices, and discuss challenges and opportunities within the current landscape.

Each year, we save a limited number of seats for prospective clients to attend this exclusive event. If you are interested in learning more about Canterbury Consulting and attending our Annual Investment Forum, please fill out the request form.

Breakout Sessions

NAVIGATING CHALLENGES FACED BY NONPROFIT STAFF AND TRUSTEES

Today’s complex investment environment presents a significant challenge to investment committees charged with the effective stewardship of financial assets. This interactive session led by Canterbury will explore both the challenges and opportunities institutions face as they balance investment considerations, fundraising objectives, and governance models while maintaining alignment with their overall mission.

IMPLEMENTING A CO-INVESTMENT PROGRAM FOR TAXABLE INVESTORS

Private capital co-investment programs afford investors more control over their private capital portfolios and the potential for return enhancement. This session, moderated by Canterbury, will feature a panel of outside experts as they discuss the history of co-investing, as well as the advantages and challenges of implementing a co-investment program from both the LP and GP’s perspective.
