Annual Investment Forum
2019 Investment Forum Date and Key Speakers Confirmed
Annual Investment Forum
JUNE 2018

Canterbury Consulting has confirmed two key speakers for the 2019 Annual Investment Forum on January 17, 2019, including Greg Valliere, chief political strategist at Horizon Investments, and Raife Giovinazzo, Ph.D., CFA, partner and portfolio manager at Fuller & Thaler.

Canterbury hosts the event each year for its endowment, foundation, healthcare, and family clients. Prominent experts provide forecasts and insights on critical topics and offer clients a rare opportunity to network with organizations that share similar investment challenges and goals. This year’s forum topics will include the macroeconomic outlook, the current political environment, and behavioral finance.

Greg Valliere of Horizon Investments cuts through the rhetoric and partisan maneuvering to offer observations about how Washington, D.C. politics affect financial markets. Valliere analyzes the actions of Congress, the White House, and the Federal Reserve and their effects in guiding the nation’s economic and monetary policies. He is frequently quoted in the nation’s financial press and is a regular guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and radio, Fox TV, CNN, and CBS Radio.

Raife Giovinazzo uses market insights and behavioral finance to enhance the investment processes at Fuller & Thaler and to manage research portfolios. Prior to joining Fuller & Thaler, Giovinazzo was a researcher and co-portfolio manager with Blackrock's Scientific Active Equity group (formerly Barclays Global Investors). His previous experience also includes investment and consulting work with Wellington Management, Marsh & McLennan, and Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman).

The invitation-only Annual Investment Forum takes place January 17, 2019, at the Balboa Bay Resort, 1221 West Coast Highway in Newport Beach, CA. For registration please contact (949) 721-9580 or email events@canterburyconsulting.com.
